In ages past, Oakvael was overrun by the foul creations of the Brotherhood of Yasnac. In an effort to protect themselves, the citizens of Oakvael built a great city in the trees of the realm, some of the trees are so great that they can actually support the full weight of the city without bending or breaking. The dwellers of the city devised a way of walking safely among the trees, and after a few accidental drops from the tree city to the surface, they developed magical boots for walking on air. Thus was the beginning of the group commonly referred to as the "Air Walkers Society".

Requires blue glow weapons to hurt.
Some higher level spells will also work, such as [[Death]] and [[Ice Spear]], but others will not ([[Magic Missile]] does not).
Hits hard relative to the other crits on its floor, and can inject a potent poison to boot.
Getting stunned by the Serpent is quite possible, and quite dangerous.

However, the Serpent can only move two hexes a turn, and so kiting is a very viable strategy.
The only challenge being the Serpent will flee when close to death; luring it into a room and closing off the exits can work, as long as you are comfortable with a "cage match"!

It can drop a [[Drake Potion]] or a [[Serpent Long Sword]].
Both seem to drop often, but not commonly
