• It must be night time and cannot be a full or new moon to enter his lair.
• Magic Users(Thaums and Wizards) are not allowed into his lair at all, so only Knights, MAs, and Thieves can get in.
• He has about 3 or 4 orc companions that carry crossbows as well, but they are not +6 like the one he carries. A presence can also usually be found around him, which can make it very difficult for thieves to stay hidden in his lair.
