How to obtain

The Black Broadsword is usually the first sought weapon for most classes. To get a Black Broadsword, you must first obtain the rocks to make it.

You'll need 1 iron ore rock and 1 ytrill rock to make 1 sword.

Iron ore can be found in -4 Kesmai but more commonly in Axe Glacier near the town.

Ytrill ore can be found in -4 Kesmai, the lair of Trog in Kesmai, and near Axe Glacier town.

Once you obtain both of these rocks, take them to Ironbar. Ironbar is located to the east of the recall ring seller of Kesmai, across a bridge and just past the pit that goes to Kesmai -3.

Around 30 hexes east of the recall ring seller in total, you'll see his building to the south. Put the 2 rocks at his feet and say "Ironbar, sell broadsword". He will then drop a Black Broadsword for you to take.
