This info is largely based on original game. On this server Drake potions, strength and dex potions are relatively easy to obtain from bosses/critters and other players cheaply. It maybe worth foregoing adding any points in CON and maxing applicable primary stats then boosting WILLPOWER/CHARISMA which can be difficult to find at all levels later in game. Willpower improves chances of escaping effects like ice, fire, webs, etc.

NOTE ALL characters MUST start with at least 15 in STR AND DEX or will result in a substantially weaker character which can only be corrected by overwriting.

Fighter This is the only class who can start with 18 str. Requires 18 con on creation to retain this. Can be lost forever in later deaths, but is very much worth doing with this downside. Suggested STR: 18, DEX: 15, INT: 12, WIS: 12, WILL: 14, CON: 18. DEX could be later maxed using potions.

Thief While INT is the thieves primary mana stat, here is some opinion WIS stat has impact on future mana rolls aswell. If reducing future need for permanent mana potions, which can be troublesome to attain, is important to you it maybe worth considering a build like STR: 15, DEX: 15, INT: 18, WIS: 17, WILL: 12, CON: 15.
