Historian Gauntlets! +7, 6 AC, blue-glowing, piercing and bashing, ties on pickup, requires level 19+ to equip.
There's no real "quest" steps required to acquire the Historian Gauntlets. They randomly drop off The.Historian, and tie on pickup. You must be level 19+ to equip them (but you can put them in your belt/bag before level 19 and hang onto them until then).
